EOVI AI acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the App, except where third-party services act as independent controllers.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Sharer Details: First name, last name, email address, username, and password.
• Viewer Details: First name (or nickname), age, viewer profile password, downtime hours, and session limits.
• Communications: Support requests or feedback sent via email or in-app tools.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Feature usage, session duration, and interaction logs.
• Technical Data: Device type, OS version, crash logs, and IP address (used strictly for security and diagnostics).

2.3 Third-Party API Data (Meta & YouTube)

When a Sharer connects their accounts to share content, we process limited data via official APIs:

• Instagram (Meta): Content links (Reels/posts), metadata (timestamps, captions), and public account identifiers.
• YouTube (Google): Video URLs, titles, thumbnails, and channel names via YouTube API Services.

Note: We do not collect passwords for your social media accounts, access private messages, or "scrape" data outside of what is provided by the authorized API.

3. How We Use Information

We use your data to:

• Operate the App’s core functionality and enable video embedding.
• Monitor app performance and security.
• Comply with Meta’s Platform Terms and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

• Consent: When you voluntarily connect accounts or submit profile info.
• Contractual Necessity: To provide the service you signed up for.
• Legal Obligation: To comply with regional laws and platform requirements.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

• Service Providers: We use Supabase for secure cloud database and authentication services.
• Platform Partners: By using this App, you are also bound by the Google Privacy Policy and Meta Data Policy.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain API-sourced data only as long as necessary to provide the App's service.

• Revocation: You may revoke EOVI’s access to your YouTube data at any time via the Google Security Settings page.
• Manual Deletion: Disconnecting an account or deleting a profile within the App will trigger the deletion of associated API metadata.

7. User Rights

8. Compliance with Local Age Restrictions

While EOVI is designed for users over 13, certain jurisdictions (e.g., Australia, Spain, and others) may have higher age thresholds for social media access.

• Local Law Precedence: Users must comply with the age-related regulations of their country of residence.
• Restrictions: If local law prohibits social media access for a certain age group, those laws take precedence over our default age settings.

We implement encrypted storage and secure API connections. However, no internet-based system is 100% secure; we encourage users to maintain strong passwords.
